Day 13 "Fun in the Sun"
Today began with a late breakfast in the condo, followed by a relaxing morning by the pool. The sun was shining, but there were more clouds in the sky and it was definitely more humid.
We decided to have lunch on the balcony, sandwiches , fresh fruit, cheese etc... and of course some liquid refreshments. A brief shower passed by and then the sun came out again.
After lunch we went to Market Garden to pick up a few essentials and then did some shopping at the Shipwreck Shop. When we returned, it was time to get ready for the Meet and Greet Party at the Greenhouse.
We had a great turnout tonight and even some extra people arrived who had not signed up. Most people stayed and had dinner and everyone seemed to have a great time. It was great meeting a few new November visitors and also chatting with the regular November folks. We would like to thank everyone who attended and contributed to the enjoyment of the evening! We had 99% attendance which was wonderful! <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Clapping.gif" alt="" /> I will try to get some party pictures posted as soon as possible.
After the party was over, we decided to stop off at the Hollywood Casino and then join some friends at the Red Piano Bar. Well we never made it to the Red Piano!! David was winning and he was fimly attached to one of the machines there. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Grin.gif" alt="" /> It turned out to be a profitable evening for him and I broke even so a good night in the end! <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Joy.gif" alt="" />
The parking lot was empty when we left the casino so we decided to go home and end the evening with some cocktails before drifting off to dreamland.
