We've passed the island a number of times and wondered
1) how it fared in the hurricane.
2) how it would be for a stop in the itinerary.
3) it seemed like there was a beach bar there, has it been rebuilt?
4) can you hike the island?

We're knocking around a lot of ideas but it may boil down to 2 nights at Leverick or 1 Prickly/1 Leverick or even 1 moored off Bitter End for a dinghy ride to Oil Nut Bay/1 Leverick.

Any thoughts or suggestions?

We are planning a slip at Leverick for 2 nights and plan to taxi to Gun Creek and ferry to ONB. We might take a dinghy adventure to Prickly Pear but that is still TBD - I don’t believe Sandbox has anything up and going as yet.

Even pre-storm, in my experience the Sandbox was rarely open. They seemed to open up mainly to serve small cruise ships that anchored nearby. Maybe we were just there at the wrong times.

Dan cheers

We usually spend a lot of time in the North Sound (pre hurricane) and surprised ourselves when we spent 4 nights there in April. 1 night on ball at Saba, 1 night on ball at Leverick, 2 nights on Leverick Dock.

Without a doubt make a reservation for Oil Nut Bay. Take earliest ferry over and last one back. Wish we could have spent more time there. Loved it!

Like others have said The Sand Box on Prickly Pear is rebuilding and we also found it only open when small cruise ships were around. We did enjoy walking on the beach when we were the only ones there.

In April I found that no matter where we went, no matter what was open/closed/rebuilding we hadn't a fantastic time with our group as well as with the locals.

You can't go wrong with wherever you end up. I say it that way because no matter what we plan it's out the door a couple days in and we just go with the flow.

Have fun!
