If snorkeling and fun is the main goal you may want to consider renting a dinghy in Cruz Bay and doing the north shore beaches at your own pace.
- Ferry over for a power breakfast at Cruz Bay landing - Dinghy 10 to 4 and go to beaches that the day sail companies usually do not hit - Back in time for Happy Hour - Catch Ferry back and watch the Sunset over STT
2 boats would do 6 people.
When you going? Are you staying on STT or just there for the day.

Just as a heads up - I think most of the companies that do dinghy rentals require reservations.
