From an unbiased opinion, how is the resort doing on rebuilding?

What I saw in May/June from an outside view they are doing a great job. Beach and pool areas looked great. They are now reconstructing the snack shack/bar on the point.

I could be wrong, but I thought that all buildings that were damaged by the hurricane (EXCEPT! for those that were demolished) have been fully repaired and are operational.

I believe they are still putting the finishing touches on the Allamanda ("A") Building. They were planning to have it ready this month.

We "own" in the upper B building (5th floor) and the 4th and 5th floors of that building we not available for use. I heard, reliable or not, that they would be ready by October/November of this year. Hoping for use for our January trip.

The resort would not commit to a time frame when asked back in April....

The two "C" and "D" buildings were demolished. SBR invoked the "force majeur" (Act of God) clause of the contract which basically released both parties from the contract without recompense. They did however offer the owners a floating "Points" offer if they continued to make maintenance payments for their no-longer existing units. The "Points" could be used at Royal Resorts properties or exchanged in Interval. We lost C11A weeks 8 and 9 and C11B week 8. Our member photo was taken years ago from the C11A unit.

Actually three buildings were demolished, Diffenbachia, Caladium and Croton.
