My wife and I were driving through the golf course last night at about 8:15, after sunset, and we noticed that there were two very bright (and unusual) lights set up on tall poles on Mullet Bay beach, near the two restaurants. Intrigued, we pulled into the parking lot and walked through the dark to the glowing pool of light on the beach.

It turned out that a video production crew from France was filming a music video of Tamillia Chance, the 14-year-old YouTube star who was a finalist in the European TV show, "The Voice for Kids," in 2016. We were introduced to Tamillia and her mother, Dianique, both of whom were gracious and charming. It's nice to meet a rising star from St. Martin!

How exciting for someone from St. Martin to do so well! Best wishes to her in the future!
