My daughter in law and family are joining us in Feb for 8 days. Flying American. Through the AA booking process she booked a car through Europecar. (Not paid in advance) $17/day. While I'm sure fees and taxes will be added that seems rediculously low for Feb. I also seem to recall renters having problems with Europecar. Any comments on this? I rent elsewhere.

Best advice normally given here is to consider TTOL sponsors and GET TOTAL CAR RENTAL QUOTE. $17/day is very low for February time frame so she may want to make sure that figure does not get multiplied with added fees, insurance and taxes.

I agree and I am more concerned with any service experiences people may have had with Europecar. I seem to recall claims for minor dents etc.
