No personal knowledge but I did find the link below that addresses smoking in Barbados and also a question was asked about bringing cigarettes into Barbados. It was stated Duty had to be paid if brought in. Perhaps your found the same source I did? SMOKING BARBADOSAnother link that appears to be the formal law as written. TOBACCO LAWS BARBADOS

try Crystal Cove Resort.It's a small resort with only two restaurants,but the menu changed everyday & the food was excellent.You could also exchange with another Elegant resort.

try Crystal Cove Resort.It's a small resort with only two restaurants,but the menu changed everyday & the food was excellent.You could also exchange with another Elegant resort. Since it was stated they are leaving on Feb. 18, I doubt changing resorts is a viable option.
