Got up to a nice sunrise and of course warm temperatures. Stayed in for breakfast, and headed out to beach around 9 am. No one on the beach, as this is a transition day. I do not think that there were more than a dozen people on Kim Sha. Another day of 88 degrees and water temp of about 84. Water did not cool us off after a day of getting lots of sun. Waves after 3pm started to pick up again this day. We did have a couple of minutes of very light drizzle, as some people packed up, left the beach, and did not return. There was stretch of about 20-45 minutes where it was completely cloudy overhead, and it looked like the sun might not return, but alas, it redeemed itself.
Had a sausage and fries from BBB, just as good as always and then headed in to clean up for the party at Toppers at nine. While at Toppers, we meet some TTOL’ers, some whose handle we remember and some we do not. Some of them did not know about the meet and great today, so we informed them of that. The party at Toppers was very, very small, as I do not think that there were more than 30 people tops there at any one time.
Some planes yesterday were taking off over the water rather than the normal inland route.
Did notice something strange, that the traffic coming from Phillipsburg after 11pm was backed up past Burger King, and it was still like that until at least 12:30am. What is up with that?
