Join us this weekend, May 25th & 26th for the 45th annual Foxy's Wooden Boat Regatta!

Wooden boats and wannabees of all shapes and sizes are all invited for a fun weekend of sailing & music!

There are only a few wooden boats left around the BVI and they're still in rough shape from Hurricane Irma. This year you will be able to represent a "Wooden Boat for a Weekend". With a donation to the Sloop Foundation / the JVD Preservation Society, your boat will be respresented as an "Honorary Wooden Boat". This applies to any and all boats of every make and model! Everyone is welcome!

Both organizations are currently working on repairing or restoring their wooden boats to keep this heritage alive. We hope to see them all out sailing for next years' Regatta!
All donations are greatly appreciated!! Check out the boats and JVDPS here:

Always?? I don't even remember Poker Runs existing when Wooden Boat was over the Labor Day weekend for so many years. It was changed after the Hurricanes in the 90's I think.

WBR and Poker Run have always been the same weekend. It's just that until 2016, JVD was never a stop. In '17, we added Taboo as a stop and moved the regatta up by a few weeks to the last weekend in April (more to accommodates boats in Antigua that might be headed up to the Med or East Coast for labour day) . In '18, Taboo was non existent, so Foxy's became the stop and WBR was cancelled for the year as it was still post Irma. This year both Taboo and Foxy's are stops and WBR is back to the Memorial Day weekend. No wooden boats this year, but a handful of local Tortola boats and one from Puerto Rico.
