Hi
Does anyone know of any exercises that can tone your back?
Without equipment?
On tv sometimes seeing women with toned backs.
How does one achieve that?

I hope this question is not totally off topic for the forum.

I would think that you could look up exercises for the back on line. Probably would help working with some light weights.

Often times looking up something on line is different from someone recommending something to you cuz it worked for them.
All the instructors claim theirs is the best.

Like the videos I use for abs and butt I can tell anyone definitely for sure I saw drastic results in as little as three weeks. (Yoga mat only)

Yes I think probably would have some weights involved.

I am currently doing The Metabolic Factor. Based on 22 day cycles, you have 3 "carb feast nights" in that cycle. No dairy, no alcohol, very limited sugar, no breads, rice, pasta, etc, unless it is your carb fest night. They want you to walk 10,000+ steps a day, or work up to it if you can. I mention it because that was one comment on facebook, that a person lost their back fat with this diet. The recipes in the book are quite good. You can have as many non-starchy veggies as you want, but they have to be at meal time, no snacking between meals. If you lose the weight, you go on to a similar diet but you get carb days every 5-7 days, you have to decide what works for you. if you still have more weight to lose, you continue the 22 day cycle. In my concentrated walking step time, I will pick up some 5 lb weights and do arm excersises, that brings up the heart rate quite well. They have another group on facebook posting their favorite meals, I had a great pumpkin, coffee, unsweetened cocoa, vanilla extract, and almond milk shake this a.m.courtesy of a facebook posting.

Not a great vacation diet, but fun to watch the success stories pasted on their facebook page. It's also fun to hear what people miss the most in this diet. For me, it is not so much a food I miss, but the social groups that we meet up with, I politely decline because it is so easy to get distracted and screw up the 22 day cycle when you are in social groups. if you screw up, start on day 1 again if you are in the initial 22 day cycle.

There is a drop down "Send Private Message" when you click on a user's name. Not sure if you did that or not.
