We’ve wanted to try Lagoonies Bistro and Bar in Cole Bay —like the setting, right on the water, nice size bar and random eclectic decor. They were beginning to decorate for their Halloween party tonight—Fiesta de los Muertos. Table for two out by the water, local Pelikaan beer on tap and we were all set. Chicken skewers for me and coco curry beef for my husband. Both were quite good. Finished the meal off with local homemade ice cream from Willy—salted butter caramel—very good! They post their menus daily on Facebook—I think Monday’s is a vegan day. Our servers were very friendly and the service was good.

After dinner we went back to Hollywood where my good luck continues. I’m not sure what the promotion is but I put my card in and $90 was deposited into the slot machine. That kept me going for the entire night. Roulette was not as kind but I’m up for the week so no complaining here.

We took a walk up to Fort St Louis this morning. The views are gorgeous and you can see for miles. Back at Divi now and the waves look a little calmer. Some waves continue to make their way up the entire beach area though.

Enjoy the day wherever you are!

My husband wanted to try Lagoonies last year for Halloween but Topper's party is also tonight. Between Buc's, Toppers, Snoppys I think we are set for the night.

Still big waves on Simpson Bay beach.

Toppers food is hands down a lot better than Lagoonies. Been to Lagoonies a few times with friends....and have to say the food each time for all was mediocre at best. Never have anything less than a great meal at Toppers. smile

The previous owners of Lagoonies made excellent fish & chips. We went often but never been since they sold. Last time at Toppers the prime rib was not good and whiskey carrots hard and tasteless. Disappointed for us and friends because it was there first time and we had raved about food.
