So, if Beach Kitten aka Leona should happen to read this, today is Friday and I know this because it says so in the corner of my iPad !
We had a lovely day yesterday doing absolutely NOTHING! Sometimes that can be truly the best and yesterday was one of those times. We hung out at the pool much of the day since the waves on the beach were a little too strong for me. My favorite cabana boy made sandwiches and we lunched at the pool which was also very nice. And after all that strenuous activity, we headed back to our unit and took naps.
Dinner was a toss-up. I voted for pizza at Fat Tony’s but my DH was fondly remembering a clam and linguine meal he had at the Spaghetti House in April so the Spaghetti House it was. His dinner was as remembered and I opted for their eggplant parm which was very good, too. Dinner for two came to $50.00 including tip and a glass of wine - no apps or desserts - that place is such a hidden gem. And on top of that, we shared some pleasant conversation with Enzo’s wife.
Between our two nights so far we’ve spent a total of $95.00 on dinners and yes, they’ve been very good, very filling and very enjoyable. I’m lol since we typically spend twice that for one night at so many of our favorite spots. And trust me on this, we didn’t choose these places because of price but that didn’t hurt either.........
Headed home for a good nights sleep and for the most part it was. Woke up around five this AM and after a little debate arose and went out on the deck just in time for the five minute (or less?) rain shower to blow through. So much for breakfast on the deck since everything’s wet out there.
Big debates as to how to spend our day.......... but I guarantee you, whatever we do - or don’t do here - it will be better than whatever we might be doing at home.
Respectfully,
pat

Sounds like a perfect day to me! I enjoy nothing better than hanging out there at BSV! … although I might have had Eric cook me a burger on the grill for lunch though! Enjoy!
