So if this restaurant is in front of Alamanda at beach does this mean it's only open for lunch same as the other beach spots?

Hard for me to understand how this is open at all, as I understand it's in the former location of Kakao. There was nothing there when we left two weeks ago.

That's odd. We were there a month ago and it was 90% complete but waiting for a container full of furniture and equipment which was to arrive Dec 1.

We tried to eat there on Monday but they were not open yet. Our friends went the next day they were open. Said best burger they had all week.

It's confirmed that Cristelle from Le Piment is now working there!!! I went passed it back in November. It looked almost ready to open. But getting supplies to the island has been nothing short of pulling teeth!! It's good to see the beach restaurants coming back!!! BTW, we loved Bruno's new menu at LaPlaya ( not that the old one was bad) !! With his all new staff, and Carol from a restaurant in GC ( can't remember the name) brings a new dimension to the table!!

Sand Gravity, got to love it!

Carole was one of the owners of L'Estaminet in Grand Case, by far my favorite restaurant of all time on the island or anywhere else. She is now working her magic at La Playa.

She's the real deal!!! There is no doubt in my mind that LaPlaya will be one of the top places to dine and spend the day on the beach!! We were there Oct-Nov, we could see she had things moving and shaking!! Everything was "SUPERB!!
