Located just off the main drag in Simpson Bay, I haven’t read or heard much about this restaurant of late.. Please tell me it’s still open there. It wasn’t a high end location but the food and prices were all excellent and the Chef made his rounds to every table at the end of the meal.

We enjoyed some incredibly good meals there in November but our concern for them with each visit was it was so far off the beaten track that it might not get the traffic it deserved. The Chef/owner used to be at one of the former big name restaurants at the Starz complex before he left to open his Sublime in what once was The Kissing Fish restaurant at the Summit Resort and was ultimately destroyed along with the Resort thanks to that b itch, Irma.

Respectfully,

pat

Thank you, Lesley. Back in November, we and the McKnights had a great dinner there. So good, in fact, we went another night as a group of six, all having different meals and all of us really enjoying them. I thought I read about a Sublime on the French side and I feared it had relocated.

OK. Thanks. I was hoping it was the chef at the old Bluefin that was at Starz before Irma.

Went the other night. We went at 6:30 and were the only ones there. It was starting to fill up when we were leaving. Didn’t see the chef. Jeff Berger mentions it whenever he can so I’m sure it will do well. Thought it was average but would go back.

If Jeff Burger mentions it a lot they must be a sponsor too.

Lesley,

I have to be totally honest here - as I’ve said so many times before - we are not true foodies in any sense of the word but we do appreciate good meals well prepared, nicely served and decently priced. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals there each time we went and I truly hope they do well. We look forward to enjoying them again in April.

They would be a perfect fit up in Cupecoy - maybe the old Escape building!

Kim--I guess there's nothing in that building now? That building seems to be kind of cursed, no one seems to make it there.
