Tonight the moon shines bright on the earth. I have seen shots from across the world as it makes it way around the globe as day becomes night.
Tonight we also lost someone very special that I grew up with listening to his music. His lyrics rang loud through the late 60s and 70s speaking truth sarcastically, irreverently, but always on point. John Prine left us tonight - A victim of COVID 19
May the moon tonight show him the way. And if you listen carefully you may hear him sing a song from his last album
When I get to heaven, I'm gonna shake God's hand Thank him for more blessings than one man can stand Then I'm gonna get a guitar and start a rock-n-roll band Check into a swell hotel; ain't the afterlife grand?
And then I'm gonna get a cocktail: vodka and ginger ale Yeah, I'm gonna smoke a cigarette that's nine miles long I'm gonna kiss that pretty girl on the tilt-a-whirl 'Cause this old man is goin' to town
Adios My Friend And I will always remember - Your Flag Decal Won't Get You Into Heaven Anymore

“Every time I open a bottle of wine, it is an amazing trip somewhere!” José Andrés
I just watched the video again, simple and powerful for sure. Just recently found out a cousin celebrated one year of sobriety from opioids, if you met her you would never suspect, she's a beautiful and loving young mom. I think I'll share this video with her today.
