Wednesday dawned very windy and overcast so the decision was made to stay close to La Vista. We had breakfast in the condo and then ambled over to the Pelican to use their beach and see what was under the waves. The snorkeling turned out to be pretty good, especially around the Flamingo rocks. We enjoyed a very good lunch at the beach shack at Pelican and found lots of sea glass in the sand. We walked down to BBB and tried the Pirate pizza (Thanks Fabila!)and split a Ceasar Salad. Peggy lost all of the house money from the night before and we went home.

Thursday was even more dreary and windier than Wednesday so it was another chill day at La Vista. We had a nice lunch from Market Garden and did a little beach strolling when the sun finally broke through. Dinner was a Lee's where we both had grilled Mahi-Mahi (different sides)and we ended up taking half of our meals home. Great portions. The tarpon were out in full force below Lee's and everyone got a kick out of feeding them. There are some really big ones around Lee's and them seem to like whatever is offered to them.

The weather is supposed to improve greatly tomorrow and I certainly hope so as we are during the all-day, three stop snorkeling trip with Captain Neil and the Celine. Pick-up is at SkipJack's so we could actually walk there, but will drive as we have our gear.

Island is very green and we even got more rain today. not heavy, but a liberal sprinkling for sure. More to come.....

Mike.
