We arrived On Sunday the 19th after uneventful and on-time flights from CHS via PHL due to using FF miles.We had just enough time to make the PHL connection although terminals were next to each other. Flight was reported as full, but many folks missed it due to their connecting flights. We waited about 15 minutes for stragglers but still arrived in SXM per schedule.

Met Lesley at the airport for the car and got our phone from Sharon. After checking in at LaVista, we did a small grocery stop at Market Garden as the big stores were closed. We had dinner and Happy Hour at the Green House and watched the fireball at BBB for a while. We back to the condo and crashed as it was a long day.

Monday was spent at Orient Beach and despite the wind, the snorkeling was good and the weather was nice. I got a touch too much sun, but it's all good! We had dinner at the BBB and really enjoyed their pizza. Peggy won a little money at Hollywood Casino and we called it a night.

Tuesday was overcast all day and very windy at times. We just chilled at LaVista and in the afternoon, took a long stroll along the beach to Royal Palm and watched a few boats come out of and into the lagoon. We also watched a group of young kids prepare the small boats then take off sailing all over the lagoon and into Simpson Bay. This was behind SBYC and some of the kids were quite good.

Hoping to get over to Pinel tomorrow, if the wind calms down.
