I am working up a plan for next year's trip to the BVI. I see that there are no longer non stop flights from Boston to STT. It looks like connecting will be required at least for now. I'm sure as the govts start reopening countries there will be a change to airline schedules. Has anyone seen anything on this in print anywhere? Do we think STT flights will be back next year?

I presume maybe you mean nonstop flights from Boston, as there definitely are flights into STT from other places, like Miami.

Malcolm, there were always several non stops BOS-STT. Jet Blue, AA etc. Since the covid schedule pull down you need to connect through ATL, JFK, MIA, SJU. Takes 7 or 8 hours instead of 4. Which is an issue for trying to get on and off the boat the same day as the flight. It can be done it's just a rough day. Wanted to tap the knowledge base here to see what people know.

I'm stupid here, but how does getting to SXM help you? If the BVI does not allow flights by US citizens directly into the BVI, how is flying into SXM first going to help you, as you are still a US citizen. The entry requirements for US citizens going into SXM are changing yet again, by the way. Some type of insurance is now mandatory, although it's not clear what type of insurance. There is a news conference scheduled for this afternoon.

Oh, ok. Sorry. I was somewhat shocked to read yesterday that Florida has more Covid 19 cases than ALL of Canada.. BUT since SXM would be allowing US citizens in, wouldn't the BVI then bar any flights from SXM to the BVI??
Yes, Winair has flown that route in the past (if they survive this thing...)

As of now, I don't think there are any flights from Canada into SXM? I thought they were only in the winter?
