This is a "newbie" question. We have done a bareboat charter at least a half dozen times. We have found ways to have our food prepared. Using the gas stove in the saloon heats up the cabin. Has anyone used an external propane burner or a simple electric burner outside to do their cooking, heating up a boiling pot of water?
Thank you..

Most electric units need AC power. It’s likely the boat would have AIr Conditioning in that case. You would kill the batteries running one off a inverter on a smaller boat. I don’t see how you could get a propane burner shipped down there. I have never really noted heat from running a stove burner or two to be a issue unless you don’t have Aircon and it’s pouring rain requiring hatches be shut. G
