Where on St. Thomas is best combination of a good beach resort and local nightlife? Not real interested in all-inclusive resorts. Like to enjoy local establishments.

Walking and/or Biking is tough here outside of the flat town/waterfront area.Narrow roads, overgrown, no sidewalks, blind spots.

Perfect we don't want to be outside of town/waterfront area. That is why we are asking for "a good beach resort and local nightlife" i.e. where there is town and waterfront area. Any hotel recommendations in this area from anyone is appreciated.

The closest Beach resort to'Town' [which has bulkheaded waterfont not beach]
Is Emerald Beach Resort.
You probably should use something like google maps satellite to see the terrain of STT
The East End Resorts are close to Red Hook - [small commercial center] but not safe comfortable walkable distances
Google *******Sapphire Beach - Secret Harbor - Ritz carlton - Point Pleasant - Magaritaville -
