Mike, you are correct. Want to try guessing where -or close to where- in SA? What told you it was SA in the first place?

Stellenbosch, SA? I went to college in Williamsburg, but didn't recognize the building

Zanshin, not Stellenbosch but relative to "somewhere in SA" you are very close.

It just looked very like the buildings, in a place I can't remember the name of, quite near to Cape Town! All of the buildings there were white with green shutters and thatch roofs.
Think I've got it now but used google maps to remind myself so I'll keep quiet.

Looks a bit like the building on the Hamilton Russell Vineyards label. They make some nice Chard and Pinot Noir.

I'll guess Eglin AFB, but I think there are one or two others around there. I don't know the name of the beach.

Close enough Fred! Tyndall Air Force Base. The beach is Mexico Beach, Florida which is the western edge of what is known as the "Forgotten Coast". Hurricane Michael made landfall there in 2018 as a Cat 5. Fred, you're up!

Well, I learned how to spell Tyndall AFB properly. This next picture may be a rerun and I know at least one player who has been here because that player also posted a picture from this place.

It's Bermuda. I've entered through the gap in the first photo and docked at the customs house that is visible in the distance in the second and in detail in the third.

Correct. The entrance is called Town Cut and it was formerly protected by Gates Fort and the Alexandra Battery. The cut leads to the pretty town of St Georges, Bermuda.

The restaurant name was visible in one of the photos Carol.

In referring to this country, we often use one place name - officially, this country contains two place names for a total of three words. The name of the international airport is the same as the statue in the picture.

SXMFOX, I'm surprised as well. BTW, around 30 years ago we used to rent beach cottages, along with other families, just north of Surf City. Most of those cottages have washed away over the years but we sure enjoyed the area for a few years.

Yes, those were the days. Hurricane after hurricane finally got all of those homes, they even had to move the road back because the ocean took the old one. It is amazing, no matter how strong you build it, the ocean will always take what it wants.

I won't even guess at where in Germany. I think it's actually the Borg ship from Star Trek.

Zanshi, isn’t this the building with the glass walkways and maybe inside parking? Didn’t you live across from there at one time, just asking? Wish I could think of the name of it, anyway just rambling

Oh - mea culpa! I thought that I'd submitted those pictures on another thread in another forum and was good to go here... It is the same building, the "Cube" (hence the Borg reference was fitting). Home of the "Deutsche Börse" (German Stock Exchange). SXMFOX - you are up.
