The Symphony in port today, supposed to leave at 6. We hung around watching for it come by, and finally went out to dinner at the Greenhouse. As we were coming back home, we saw it was finally leaving.

It's good to actually see a ship with passengers on it. We have seen a couple of ships around for several days, just floating. There were ships in the past two days. According to the DH today, there are supposed to be two ships in today, Seabourn Odyssey and Allure of the Seas.

Didn't realize it, but the Daily Herald says the Symphony is the world's largest cruise ship. Link

Great picture! One of the many nice benefits of staying in one of the Pelican Cove condos is seeing the cruise ships pass by so close on their way in and out of Philipsburg. We stayed in unit 9, Villa Velaire, about 6 years ago when my brother and his wife decided to join us. It's a very nice, well-maintained complex and the private plunge pool was great. Glad you're enjoying it, Carol.

That's a great shot!! I have to zoom in to get that shot from Beachside Villa's! We print out the week schedule for another reason. Make sure if we are going out, leave BSV before they come cattling in to Maho beach bars!

Canuck--Yes, it is surprising how close the cruise ships--and all the other boats are--here, versus at Beachside. We just saw the Allure of the Seas come in.
