We are scheduled to be in STJ in 10 days. One of our group had Covid about 8 weeks ago (very mild case) and current testing guidelines suggest that you will likely test positive unless over 90 days.

USVI website makes no reference to this except for a link to the CDC for exemptions which references only international travel. Does the CDC exemptions work for coming in from the mainland? Does the portal accept the documentation?

Thanks.

Have them do a proctored rapid test. A lot less chance of testing positive.

Have not heard 90 days, 5 days after symptoms reside you are no longer contagious and can retest.
( 10 days after onset )

I tested positive after a mild case, sore throat on Friday (onset?) , positive test on a Thursday ( 6 days later) and negative test on Sunday ( 10 days later ) .

Positive 8 weeks ago.... As long as they test negative now, you should be OK.
