That works.....now we need the same to return to the USA. Start with returning from Canada and then add returning from other countries

What happens if the traveler does not have a device (phone) to load the Arrive CAN app onto?

What happens if the traveler does not have a device (phone) to load the Arrive CAN app onto? I imagine you'd have to show hard copy of vax status.

ArrivCan is mandatory for everyone entering Canada, whether or not you have a smart phone. There is a web version. Upload necessary documents and then print hard copies for the airport / border.
