Le Pen is giving Macron a close race. Two weeks from now will give a better picture of France’s future. Wondering if St. Martin will be affected if Leadership in France changes?

I can't imagine that Marine LePen would ever be elected president of France. Some of her proposed measures, such as imposing stiff fines on those who wear head coverings in public, could cause massive civil unrest. Almost all of the parties on the left, and some on the center-right, have asked that their supporters vote for Macron in the runoff.. The third place finisher, Melanchon, with over 20% of the votes on the first round, has asked his supporters to not vote for LePen.
I could be wrong. I never thought that Donald Trump would ever be elected US president.
