I got Verifly set up to use going to SXM just in case it would be accepted. The interesting thing is that, while you upload your vax QR code (copy of vax cards not accepted as there's no QR code on them), you do not upload your EHAS form; you just answer yes that you have received it. As I mentioned in another thread, my QR code had to be manually reviewed as Oregon Health Authority wasn't on their accepted list of places authorized to provide QR code. Ridiculous.
I was able to print boarding passes at home which I have never been able to do before on an international flight; I assume that was because of Verifly. I did not want to print luggage tags at the kiosk because, as a first-class traveler, I want the orange "priority" tags along with regular tags on my luggage. At the counter I told the clerk that I had Verifly. He asked to see it on my phone, and I didn't have to show anything else. While it was easy for me to not have to show paperwork, I think it's a flaw in Verifly that you don't have to upload your EHAS form. I could have answered yes to the question whether or not I had it.
So Verifly does speed things up, and more so if you use it as SXMFOX described in the other thread.

Linda--our vax cards do not have ANY QR codes on them at all. Issued by our local Florida Dept of Health. So, I guess we can't do it regardless?
And yes, that is an issue, that you don't even have to have the EHAS form, but I assume maybe they checked it when you landed?

I’m glad I was able to help in some small way. Just to let everyone know and clear some confusion, the app talks directly to your airline in the background. Also when you answer yes about your EHAS form in the app (pre-approval into SXM), the app is communicating in the background with SXM to double check that you indeed did receive pre-approval to enter SXM, its not that it just took your word for it. I hope this clears the air. Once you start using the verifly app, it will make your life so much simpler. Also to clarify if you are flying first class, once you scan your ticket through the kiosk at the airport, it will print those pretty orange first class luggage tags out for you. I believe there is some confusion about the app its self, contactless, paperless and easy. One of the points of the app is that you no longer need to wait in those long lines to talk to an agent, the app has already done that for you. Hope this helps

Linda--sorry, too much drama. Not going to bother. I'm with you on that one.
