Many thanks to several of you who gave me recommendations as to where on orient I could spend a nice day while visiting during a cruise stop. We are loving orange fever this very moment. The other six people who shared a taxi with us are also thankful that I asked the question and got this recommendation from this forum.

By the way it is day six of our cruise on Windstar but it’s the first day we have been able to go to a beach. Several missed ports due to stormy seas

So happy for you to finally be able to reach land- and what a land it is. Enjoy this gorgeous island.
(If I was on a cruise and missed 6 ports plus had stormy seas, I'd be in sick bay for sure and asking for a refund!! )

Glad you liked it, it is one of our favorites, both for the food and for the humor of the server Jean Carlos
