We had a very nice dinner at Jax's last night. Service was very attentive almost too much so. Our primary server, Sava was very nice and did a great job. We shared a Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail for an appetizer and my wife had the Seafood Pasta entree and I had the Filet Mignon with Truffle Cream sauce for dessert Sava convinced me to have a Raspberry Mousse with ice cream.
Today is our last full day in paradise and I have not had Reveil Matin's French Toast Baguette yet so that's the breakfast plan and for dinner we are going to make reservations at Sublime.
Oh and on the Oasis update (the old Cherie's site) Sava told us that the Italian restaurant is going to open Wednesday and the Asian restaurant next week. Don't hold your breath folks I'm still going with 2023.
Today will be picking up last minute things and hopefully the Amsterdam Cheese Store has received their shipment so we can pick up some more wedges of Black Lemon Gouda for us and gifts. I inquired about buying a full wheel of this but put the breaks on when I found out it's $235.00 a wheel. Regular Gouda is $33.00 a wheel. So a few wedges will do until we return in 3 months.
Big time dieting and a lot of winter walking to do before we return.

I have heard that the Italian restaurant in Oasis is going to be run by Marco, lately of Isola. Looking forward to trying it in March!

A group and I had dinner at Jax last month, and it was perfect in every way. It was during the "Flavors of Sint Maarten" promotion where a fixed price gets you three courses. Food and service were outstanding. I would have gone back to Jax over Sublime had I gone to that area for another dinner. The only negative was that Jax does not validate parking while Sublime does.

Yes. That is true. Marco told me it will be called Roma and the PDF menu he sent me has a lot of our favorites from Isola.
