For those who might have a Moorings charter planned there is now an excellent market onsite at the Roadtown base.

Thanks, George. If you happen to know, are the prices and selection competitive with Riteway, etc, to the extent that the market is an option for full provisioning, or is this more of a great option for grabbing a few last minute things you might have forgotten or just didn't find elsewhere?

My wife thought they were very slightly higher than Riteway but no 10% delivery fee! They are the ones who also provision your boat if you order through the Moorings. Very easy and they handled a couple of issues with the delivery instantly. They have everything needed however the deli had not yet opened.

Find it hard to believe the Moorings deli will outclass the French Deli across the street!

Nice thing is that it’s less than a minute to walk from one to the other!

Full disclosure - as Fitzhugh says - I give them bags of key limes, in exchange for which I often get a "cadeau" - a traditional sign of appreciation from French cheese mongers. The mature local women who work there like to start the day off with a class of limeade!
