Sorry to ask a question that has been answered many times but I could not easily find the answer. What is the collective wisdom on the best or good day sailing trips to Anguilla from SXM? Just two of us so we are probably looking at a group tour. I would like to spend some time actually at Anguilla and not just Prickly Pear. Thanks.

Are you looking for a beach day that's not Prickly Pear? I like taking the Marigot ferry to Anguilla, then taking a taxi to Shoal Bay East, which is the most beautiful beach I've ever seen. However, if you want a tour or to see some of the island, once the ferry deposits you, you could ask a taxi driver to take you around the island. I did that once on a cruise stop (in St. Bart's) and it was a fun day.

Thank you. We've done the ferry over and taxi to Shoal Bay before. That was great. We thought we'd try one of the various day sailing trips offered. That seems like a nice a variation. We wondered if you all had favorite boats or excursions that you highy recommend. I see some ads online that look interesting but nothing beats actual experience from folks who know the area.

I would suggest Boomerang. They make several stops and serve a very good lunch onboard Excellent reviews.

Do they go to Shoal Bay?

Yes, I have actually stayed on Shoal Bay and have seen them pull up and anchor. Twice while I was there in 2023.

Thanks. Good to know. Shoal Bay is gorgeous and I don't believe Aqua Mania has a trip there anymore like in the past.
