I am trying to compare the actual all-in cost of the ferry for 5 passengers from BVI Yacht Charters to STT Airport which would need to include taxis on both sides? I have a quote for $1,125 ($225 per person) for the Water Taxi inclusive of land taxi from Red Hook to the airport and inclusive of customs fees. If we take the ferry there will be ferry cost plus taxi on both ends and customs fees. Can someone share that that cost is?
I'm trying to talk myself into the water taxi to save the aggravation.

The answer is it depends. Can you purchase round trip ferry tickets on the same company? How many bags? If purchasing a one way ticket it will be 70 plus 10 dollars for each bag. You will need cab fare from the boat to Roadtown ferry dock and Cab Fare to the STT airport. A person with two bags I just figure 130.00 total. Your quote is one of the lowest I have noted for a water taxi. Make sure it includes everything. Some companies add a fuel surcharge, custom fees, handling fee ect…

Sorry George I should have been more specific. For the ride to Tortola at the beginning of our trip we land at STT at 11am so no rush making the ferry. I thought we would have lunch at the Petite Pump Room and chill. For the return we have a 2:15pm Flight and I am concerned about the stress level trying to make that with the potentially long wait at C&I with the ferry. Therefore I thought the one-way water taxi option would be worth the cost. We have 5 people with a rollaboard each (do backpacks and purses count as bags too? If so probably two bags each.
