US will apply 10% tariffs on imports from SXM. SXM will most probable reciprocate.

U.S. exports to Sint Maarten were valued at $847 million.

Most goods sold in SXM are imported from the US. ACE for example imports almost all of its goods from the USA.

Between this hike and the falling greenback, SXM is going to become dearer for all visitors especially those how have USD currency.
