Just FYI -
Obviously you don't want to wait until the last minute to renew, but my passport expired a few months ago so I started the renewal process on June 2 online. No expedited service was paid for, and the new passport should be here on Saturday June 14. 12 days from start to finish. YMMV!

Mine was expiring this coming November, so I renewed it online in May. Did not pay for expedited service and had it very quickly.

Unheard of but State really has been ahead of the published time for the last few years. I got mine (standard processing) in two weeks as well, and that was before they created the new "app" processing.

We mailed ours in …… a year early because of our travel plans and needing 6 months still remaining…..it took us 6 weeks for the entire process.
