We started the day by going to the Good Morning coffee/bakery shop in Orient village for breakfast. They have the best coffee to start the day and we have gone there previous mornings just for the coffee. We enjoyed our breakfast which consisted of omelets with bacon, spinach and tomatoes along with a hash brown potatoe and fruit. We thought we would try a larger breakfast skip lunch and go for a nice dinner which we did
Club O was very busy and by the afternoon all the chairs and umbrellas were spoken for. Less wind and maybe a 30 second rain event in the afternoon.
We ventured down Orient beach in the later part of the morning to check out a few shops. The beach was not overly crowded and the establishments along the beach kept their area fairly clean. As we walked down past Kon Tiki the smell of the sargassum got worse and we had to turn around. There was hardly anyone around that we could see all the way to Mount Vernon. The smell was not pleasant at all.
We enjoyed our afternoon of being at Club O once again.
We decided to venture to Grand Case for dinner and we had an excellent night. We were able to find plenty of parking spots in the lot near Calmos and even noticed the gendarmes walking about.
We walked up Grand Case Boulevard and noticed how many newer establishments we saw from last year and even a few buildings along the water that looked to be under some sort of construction.
We really wanted to enjoy dinner with a water view so we ended up at Ocean 82 with the best seat and a fantastic dinner with a very beautiful sunset. We timed it perfectly when we got there. I have a video of the sunset and Will try and post it if I can.
We shared an appetizer of escargot that were devine and I had a grilled shrimp with garllc butter with zucchini and a puree carrot. It also came with a side of potato gratin. Devine! Hubby had a lamb shank roasted for 24 hours in a honey rosemary sauce with mashed potato. I almost wished I had gotten that as it was fabulous but we shared both dishes and it was very very good
We finished dinner with a chocolate molten.cake with ice cream which was the best I have ever had.
All in all another fabulous Day in paradise!

Thanks for bringing us along on your trip. We've been enjoying your reports and pictures.
The sunset picture with the solo bird is really good, but my favorite is that chocolate molten cake. Yum!

Sounds like another great day. Good morning is by far our favorite for breakfast. There are days when I just walk over for pastries to go,and others when we go for the full breakfast. Their prices don’t come close to the quality of the food. We absolutely love the lady who single handedly takes care of everyone.

We love Good Morning, too. We often also get a sandwich on a baguette to bring to the beach.
