Hotel on the Cay is located on an island. It is accessible with a short ferry ride to the mainland. Have not stay there but have eaten their barbecue on Tuesday nights many times. St. Croix is a great place to visit. Much more laid-back than St. Thomas and you drive on the left with little traffic.

We visited st Croix in December and we enjoyed our stay. We exchanged to Divi at quite isolated location. Hotel on the Cay sits on a little island at historic Christianstad(sp) I think it is a great location. You will need a car to explore the island. We will return fo sure, there is a lot of history and unspoiled nature compare to some other places we visited in Caribbean.
There is no place like SXM.
