Hi everyone...

Next year...my husband and I are considering chartering a sailboat in the Seychelles. We will visit relatives in Durban, South Africa first then continue on to the Seychelles.

Have any of you ever chartered in the Seychelles? If so, what was your experience. We are looking at Dream Yachts as the charter company.

Also...do you know where I would find good photos of the Seychelles?

THANKS.
Pat

We were in the seychelles back in October 2004 but did not bareboat. We did see several large sailboats in and around the waters there. As a follow-up to my trip report I provided this ink to a photo site which answers your request for photo information.

enjoy your trip

We are also considering chartering with the Moorings in the Seychelles early next summer. Also curious about peoples experiences sailing and diving there.

My big question has to do with airfare. Just a quick look on the online travel search engines makes it look VERY expensive to fly to the Seychelles. What is the best way to go? Book seperate legs to Europe and then on to Mahe from, say, London? What would be a reasonable price for airfare from the States? Thanks.

Sean
