Hi It looks as though the outfit called Laughlin Adventure Tours that offered tours to the South Rim and to the “West Canyon”, i.e. the Glass Walk and the Hualapai Falls in the Hualapai Reservation, is out of business. Of course, you can inquire from one of the hotels/casinos in Laughlin. Our suggestion is to take the Amtrak Southwest Chief from Laughlin to Williams, AZ and then take the Grand Canyon Railway to the South Rim. It might be best to stay overnight at a hotel and go back to Williams and Laughlin the next day. There is everything from tony digs (El Tovar, for example) to less pretentious ones (say Maswik - my daughter and I stayed in one of their cabins before taking the mule ride down the Bright Angel Trail to Phantom Ranch). There is no way the Grand Canyon doesn’t deserve a splurge (in terms of both money and time). And this will require planning on your part. Just sayin’. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/handshake.gif" alt="" /> Peace Dugg & Chris Our VI pics are at http://picasaweb.google.com/papadugg/ - haven’t started on our ‘14 pics for Picasa.
