We had a fabulous time 2/22-3/5!
Virgin Gorda,Leverick Bay Thru.-Sun.
We had a blast with Ed……he kept us out late partying and dancing Fri. & Sat. night.“At the end of the day” you are missing a lot if you don’t look him up while you are there!

Dinner at the Rock was spectacular! The expression on JD’s face while we were entering the dining area was worth the visit alone. This was his birthday dinner. The food was excellent! We hit every bar on the island! The streets do not fold up on VG!

We had a great day cruising around in our rental dingy!

The food, drinks and hospitality at Leverick is nothing shot of wonderful. Thank you, Nik & Monica, Alex, Titah, Ali, and Harris. You have to try the breakfast burritos! Also the salmon dinner is the best I have ever had! They are to die for. We briefly saw Newcomers of TTOL on Mocko Jumbi night. We saw Gail’s boat in the harbor, we looked for you, and sorry we didn’t get to meet you Gail. Hello to our new friends Paskel and Brian, Virginia and Jon, Steve and Sam (father-son charter cruise) Leverick is always a special place for us. Land based or cruising we always love it! The new dock is awesome!

Anegada, Neptune’s Treasure Mon.-Mon.
What can I say that hasn’t been said? Home, for only a week. We met new TTOL friends Idette, Tara, & Tara. TTOL lurkers Anne and Mike. New Neptune friends, Happy, Jim, Sarah, George, Marilyn & Hale (just married at Neptune’s on Feb. 25) Spent some time with old Neptune friends Linda and Bill.

Enjoyed the time spent with Vernon. Especially fond of the moment………..Ok this is a story I have to tell……….He is milking attention and affection all week because of his bad knees. I am honestly sympathetic towards him, taking coffee up to him each morning, rubbing his legs. Sue from Canada is taking a leave of absence this week on Tortola, ( I am sorry I missed you Sue! I can’t wait to finally meet you!) so I am trying my best to bump myself up from number 4 on his list to at least number 1 or 2. Honestly! I was doing some serious [censored] kissing! Fetching his wine, giving him kisses and hugs, walking him home……I do love the man, how could you not? He can be so damn charming! JD is so patient and understanding of my Endeavour. …………So…………It’s the night of the eclipse and we’re in the bar, Sue Wheatley, Vernon and I. I suggest we all go out side and have a look see at the moon (JD and Linda are out there taking pics) He asks if I’ll carry his glass of wine for him. With out a doubt, I agree. He stands up and walks rather quickly towards the door………no walking stick……….no slow pace………no bend in the spine………………..Halleluiah! ……….It’s a miracle! ………In a short instant I met his eyes…….exchanged a glance with Sue……looked back at Vernon, now standing by the door………..laughter broke out. “Would you like your stick?” Sue and I ask. With a wave of his hand and a sly little chuckle he tells me “No honey, I’ve come this far, we’ll just leave the stick” Needless to say Sue and I gave him no rest about his “affliction” and how handy it has become to gain the attention of women.
Another fine quote by Vernon while I was there……………”Jesus Christ! I have two Sues” Said, as the realization set in to his mind, that two of his dearest women were named Sue. We all joked at the bar about it. Alex says he will write a song about it……..Can’t wait to hear it!
Dinner at Big Bamboo was great! I had lobster. All other dinners were at Neptune’s, the food, as always, was great! Lunches at Cow Wreck………wonderful! More than once I ordered Belle’s conch fritters. Met the limerick man himself, David Smith. Met some very nice people from all over and we had the most wonderful time!
I cried like a baby, sobbing, on the drive from Cow Wreck to Neptune’s our last evening. I knew that damn ferry was coming to rip me away from my home the next morning.

We flew AA Dulles to SJU to EIS. No lines at check in. No lines at security. Very short delay but pilot made up the time. No problems at SJU. First through immigration at EIS. No problems on return flight either. We met one of Rita’s old friends on the return layover at SJU! All very pleasant.
