As a very frequent visitor both by sea and by land (30 years) to the BVI, like many I have seen many changes--some good and some not so good. I just returned from 10 days on land staying at the home of a friend. We had occasion to go down to the cruise ship pier. I must say that I was absolutely appalled by the condition of the whole area. Messy, totally uncompleted, I cannot imagine the view of a passenger disembarking there. To return to the ship one must walk through a construction area, dusty, dirty. I also understand they are way over budget and in no way finished. I wonder, given Disney's image for squeaky clean appearance, how they will feel in 2016 if this situation is not resolved. As a lover of the BVI, this makes me very sad and disappointed. Just MHO. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Sad.gif" alt="" />

They claim most of the village will be completed by October but mean time NCL will only be paying half the $15 landing fee. The Ports Authority is borrowing money from anywhere they can to get it completed.
