We're bringing two new couples with us on a trip next May. Or, we're trying to convince two couples to join us. I wanted to share a few trip reviews (with photos) to give a good idea of the experience. We'll be chartering a Lagoon 440 from Conch and plan to hit land sights from North Sound (Baths, hog heaven, etc), Anegada, and maybe a full moon party.

Are there any good reviews that come to mind? Doesn't need to be recent - within the last 5 years is fine. Many reports have a lot of logistical info which is useful to me, but not for a first-timer. Thanks!

I've got 2 trip reports on a blog I have.

http://svnoregrets.blogspot.com/2013/07/our-first-day-july-4th-2013.html

There's a trip report archive too - Beerman's reports are great. He'll have a new one in a few weeks!

Great trip reports from Kim as well - Sandsailsun - and she and Ward have great reports with newbies on board.

Yes, Kim has posted a lot of fun reports with great pics, big fan! RickG, Prospector, Boatjunkie and many other great reports with photos can be found in the BVI Trip Report section. Go to the bottom of the page and change SHOW "active in last year" to "from all dates". If you have younger kids going check out Swifty's "Kid Sail" reports. If you are traveling with a baby? Wait 3 weeks and I'll be posting about the wanderings of the Maytrix/BEERMAN combo crew!

Here's an article I wrote that's kind of a summary of all of our trips, aimed at exactly helping first-timers understand the lure of a charter vacation. Hope it helps!
