Air - Sun Country Direct from MSP. No Problems, arrived at 4:45, sat in line for the bridge after getting luggage, raining cats and dogs, so things were going to get better.

Rented a Jeep from Unity, put the top up, due to the down pour, and we were off to our island home at Belair Beach Hotel. Sent the gals ahead in a cab to check in and talk to Vincent about our chairs on the beach. Finally, about an hour and change after we landed, I have having my first Carib on the the deck of Room 409... <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/toast.gif" alt="" />

Great to see the folks over at Greenhouse. Norm and Betty, WBL Couple, Wayne B and his lovely bride, as well as getting to meet Barbara, what a treat. Was fun to swap stories and catch up. We missed you Dan and Pam!!

Over all the island was busy, the traffic can be bad at times, we did manage to screw up and leave the SSBB at 4:45 to try to beat the 5:30 bridge, but didn't make it. My bad!! Our guests where not impressed with my island knowlege. Oh well, that is what you get when you don't wear a watch on vacation. Any way two hours later we where back at the Belair getting ready for dinner at the GingerBread cafe, (onsite at Belair) and it was really a nice meal.

The weather was different as there was a lot more wind than usual on Orient and Dawn, also the ocean was pretty rough on that side of the island.

Took Lambada to Prickly Pear and had a wonderful day. What a fun trip, and a beautiful spot.

Otherwise just read books, sat on the beach, relaxed and drank a Carib or two....

Food Highlights: Had a wonderful meal at Halsey's - the grouper is awesome. Also, Banzatju was fantastic. Pizza Pasta - great food and learned your first drink is free if you stay at Belair (BONUS!). Peg Leg was fun, ran into Norm and Betty which is always a treat. Said hello to Shawn, he says with a big smile, "welcome home!" I love that. The restaurant at Divi is always nice and I don't have to drive to get there. We also ate at Taloula Mango's which is good as well. The ribs at Rosies on Mullet where also ver nice. I'm not exactly sure why, but things always taste better on the island.

Went to Dawn beach and paid $10 to park by Mr. Busby's which includes two chairs and umbrellas, pretty good deal. Not to mention Mr. Busby's has 75 cent Caribs from 11:00 - 4:00!! Now that is a great deal!! The biggest disappointment for me was not being ablt to have Ms. B's ribs. The white tent is gone and there are no more ribs. Glad Norm was there to give me a hug!

Overall the island is busy, but great as always. We had a wonderful trip and look forward to next year. Please send me a PM if you have anything I could help with or clarify.

Ony 50 more weeks until we are back!!
