Myett's Garden Inn is a lovely place. We've stayed there several times and are always treated like family. We feel perfectly safe there. Plus they have the best happy hour anywhere!
It's not about waiting for the storm to pass. It's about learning to dance in the rain.

Sleep aboard at Moorings seems to save time and money for me. We do sleep aboard on first night and check in a motel on last night (not Mariner) after returning the boat.
