No recipe here just a question. In cleaning out my pantry I came upon a bottle of HP Curry Sauce that had been brought back from SXM. I have no idea just what to do with it. Any suggestions?

You don't want it. Mail it to me.

Is this the stuff: http://www.brownsauce.org/more-lashings-of-sauce/hp-sauce/hp-curry/ ?

Use like any other hot sauce -- zip up eggs, use in place of other condiments in making chicken curry, add to stir-fries, really good with home-fries, and nearly anything else.

Since it is essentially tomato, mango, and vinegar with some spices it will make a dandy marinade for broiled fish.

sail fast and eat well,

dave

Dave...the picture is a little different. Big Ben is on this one and it says "A Mild & Fruity Curry Sauce" under the picture. I have no idea how long it has been in the pantry but I just HAD to open it and taste it and boy is that good! Kind of similar to the curry ketchup from SXM that is in the fridge. It will go great on my scrambled eggs that's for sure! Now to check out all the different bottles of hot sauce that my husband collected!

Brian, that really sounds good. And I believe I do have the recipe for that.

Now what am I going to do with over 100 bottles of hot sauce that Paul collected? <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Laugh.gif" alt="" />

My suggestion is to have a central Florida TTOL party and have everyone bring their favorite recipe and let's get rid of at least half of those bottles! <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Grin.gif" alt="" />
