I'm not sure if her other one La Dame de Cœur (Black Jack Caraïbe) is available in English.

The stories i remember were simple murder mysteries, nothing too elaborate, BUT, were set amongst all the beaches, towns and restaurants as they existed at the time and were sold in a charming little store on the French side called Pierre Lapin. I haven't read it myself, but it could be Gone Bamboo by Anthony Bourdain, who is now more famous as a TV chef and travelogue host on CNN.

Thank you so much so those gift cards at Amazon will be gone and now I will have enough reading material about my Happy Place to keep me happy for the month of May.
