Was just supposed to shop for a gift for Ginas new friend in a travel agency that is close to the hotel. Went to the Mercado area next to the Coca Cola bus stop (most gringos don’t shop there) . Any how ended up spending most of the morning in that area ( go figure). Did find some nice clothes to buy again .Met Rosario for lunch and had a nice talk about CR and the tourism here. After we thought we would tour the zoo since it was supposed to be close. We walked 2 blocks asked for directions, walked 2 blocks asked for directions got different directions did this about 3 times. The zoo was on a dead end street. Zoo was very small so in about 30 minutes you had seen everything. Even a raccoon like the on crapping on my deck at home. I wouldn’t put the zoo on a must see list. On the plus side with all the walking seen a lot of beautiful architecture and took some pictures. Cleaned up for dinner bet we really wasn’t in the mood for a full blown meal. Ended up having nachos at the hotel café on the boardwalk ,did some people watching, met up with Steve , he was one of the men that moved down here from the States that gave us some information on the Quepos area.
Talked for about 2 hours and called it a night at 9:30. ( Is that better Carol?)
