Sound travels at 1100 feet per second. Unless the plane is at mach 1 you will hear the sound before the plane comes in the picture

It very well could be lag. Audio streaming faster than video. Just a theory.

There is about a 15 second delay in the video. When we were there a couple of weeks ago I was watching n the planes land from our balcony and seeing them land about 15 seconds later on the webcam.
