Chicken Tarragon 2 split, boned and skinned chicken breasts 1 stick butter 1 small, chopped onion or shallot 1 clove, chopped garlic 1 C. chicken broth 2 T. dried tarragon 1/4 C. sour cream salt and pepper Salt & pepper chicken. Saute chicken breasts in butter. When cooked remove from heat. Add onions, saute 'til glossy then add garlic. When cooked add chicken, chicken broth, tarragon cook 1/2 hour. Then and sour cream.Cook a few minutes to heat through. Serve with rice or buttered noodles. Serves 2. You can adjust the tarragon to taste. I like more tarragon but hubby less so when I make it for me alone I let the T. fly! Enjoy!

BTW....this recipe is older than me....handed on to me from a dear friend, Dorothy Rominski who was my mentor!
OOPS! check the bold instructions......I wasn't clear in the original recipe! I cook by the seat of my pants so I just take things for granted. Oh, well....hope it wasn't an inconvenience.
