While I tend to post most in the BVI and St. Martin forums, I've been one of the volunteers at the Antigua Sailing Week for a couple of years now and have a good vantage point from one of the two committee boats. This year I didn't get to take as many pictures as I would have liked, but for anyone interested in a view from the volunteer side as opposed to that of the competitors and professional photographers (who tend to stick to the "big boys" anyway) -

Cirrus moving across here in Falmouth with some mid-level scud as well. I spent the day editing pictures from the Antigua Sailing Week and just finished uploading - anyone else stuck in the boring weather here or otherwise willing to wade through some pictures of yachts racing, just click on the picture

Hi Zanshin,

We will be sailing the leeward Islands for 18 days in June. We plan to head over to Antigua if weather permits.

When we clear in to Antigua are we allowed to clear out at the same time like you can on St. Kitts and Nevis? I would like to go over to Barbuda but I don't want to go back to Antigua to clear out.

I'm interested in this as well. We are starting a charter in Antigua and would potentially like to do the same basic thing. I read there is a customs office on Barbuda but it seems like a pain to get to. Would be nice to be able to check out of Antigua either at the airport when we arrive or at least at C&I before we head over to Barbuda.

Boatboy, I am going to be down there on a DYC Lagoon 40 starting in Antigua on June 18 and ending up at St. Martin on July 3. Will be myself, my my wife and our three kids - our first charter outside of the VIs. Feel free to stop by for a drink if you see us.

snmhanson, We will start June 13th out of The Moorings base on St. Martin ending back on St. Martin July 1st. Accompanying me will be my wife and daughter....hope to see you out there.

Antigua is a stickler for proper customs/immigration check in and check out. It doesn't hurt to ask if you can do both at the same time, since you are a charter boat. Private boats cannot do it.
