The only 18 hole golf course on Nevis belongs to the Four Seasons Hotel. I was there last week (anchored off Pinney's Beach) and saw the course - it is pristine and beautiful. If you do head to Nevis, I liked the Golden Rock Hotel and it is priced better than the awesome Montpelier Plantation Hotel.
Addendum - the other golf course is a private one, and that isn't a full 18 hole course and I'm not sure it takes greens-fee players.

We used to see a lot of golfers on St. Kitts years ago coming in from SXM and once upon a time the activities desk at the Towers offered a day trip over there from SXM for golf and/or a day of sight-seeing. It's been years since we've been to St. Kitts so perhaps the course doesn't even exist any longer.
Not Nevis I know, but it was a pleasant reminder of trips from 'back in the day'...........now if only I could remember where we stayed!!
The trip was offered prior to the opening of the course on AXA and since the boat to Anguilla was considerably less expensive than the plane tickets to StK, we thought they did away with the golf trip to St. Kitts but if the course is still there and playable, it might be an option if Nevis isn't available?

Fletch said: The Four Seasons has the only 18 hole regulation golf ...Contrary to Zanshin's observation the course is not always in best of shape... I'm sure you are right, I only looked at the holes close to the hotel itself and they are probably the best-kept ones. I played a lot of golf having lived in PHX, so I'm used to good courses but $250 seems a bit steep. Are the rates better if you are staying at the hotel?

JGUN said: Thank you all for the feedback. Sounds a tad cost prohibitive for the golf and overnight in Nevis. Maybe Anguilla or possibly St Kitts is an alternative. Thanks again. FYI - flying (the only way from SXM) to St. Kitts will cost you about the same as flying to Nevis. Golf at the Marriott course will run you $150 (in High Season) or $125 (in Low Season) if you are staying at the Marriott (add $15 to Green Fee if you are not staying at the resort. Club rentals, if you need them will run you $65. Green fees at the Cuisinart course on Anguilla will set you back $250 in High season and $225 in Low season. Club rentals will set you back $60 for basic clubs or $99 for premium clubs. If you are bringing your own clubs don't forget to factor in the excess baggage fee the airline will change you in each direction (and also to/from the Caribbean). Golf in the Caribbean isn't cheap.

I am an AVID golfer, but when I go to the Caribbean, I leave my clubs at home. Much better courses in Colorado (Yes, I have played golf in Colorado every month of the year) or Hawaii, The Algarve, Portugal etc.
