That is so sad, Maureen, because they are known for that dish. Last December John and I stopped in for dinner with dessert on our minds but sadly, by the time we finished our entrees we were too full for the strudel. Annette said we could feel free to stop in another night just for dessert and after drinks with friends one evening, that's exactly what we did. It was delicious and a meal in itself by the time it was served as strudel a la mode and with a dollop of whipped cream.
